Online Form Submission
Step 1 Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal. (Click on "Register Now"  link on the Home Page).
Step 2 Login to the Passport Seva Online Portal with the Login ID created in Step 1.
Step 3 Click "Apply for LoC Permit" link.
Step 4 Fill in the required details in the form and submit.
Step 5 Take the printout of filled application form through the "View/Print Submitted Form" link available on the View Saved/Submitted Applications page.
Step 6 Bring printed copy of online filled application form affixed with coloured photograph, carry three more recent coloured photographs, Proof of Date of Birth (Matriculation Certificate attested by Gazetted Officer (G.O.), S.M.C. / T.A.C Certificate, Passport Photocopy, Annexure ‘A’ (format available for download in PSP website) in case of illiterate), Proof of Address in India (State Subject Certificate attested by Gazetted Officer (G.O.), Election Commission Identity Certificate, Tele / Mobile Phone bill, Electricity Bill, Border Card, Passport Photocopy, Aadhaar Card) and submit the application form and required supporting documents at Jammu or Srinagar Passport Office. Refer FAQ for more details.
Note:
  • LoC Permits are issued only by RPO Jammu and RPO Srinagar to those Jammu and Kashmir residents who want to visit their relatives living across the Line of Control (LoC) for valid reasons (like attending wedding ceremonies). Similarly, Pakistan Administered Kashmir (PAK) Authorities also issue LoC Permits to the Jammu and Kashmir natives residing on that side of the LoC for visiting their relatives across LoC.
  • Parents need to separately apply for LoC Permits for infants travelling with them
  • Travelers are permitted to carry Indian currency worth rupees 5000/-(five thousands only) on both way (Exit/Entry)
  • The maximum permissible baggage per person is 30 Kg by weight with dimension not exceeding 2.5*1.5*1.5 feet
  • Defaulters are liable to be prosecuted
